Nice review Hilbert. I've bought these 2 straight away when you announced it on your news page. And I've to say as a fan of the ICUE stuff I'm also surprised about the responsiveness of the mouse and the big surface of the pad. It cleans up my desk instead of using 2 mouse pads.

Thanks, however I cannot take credit here as Raffaele wrote this one 😉

This handsome mouse matt is HUGE, at 93cms (36.5"), it's a mere 7cms short of 1m. The other dimension is 40cms (15.75"). How do you manage to make use of such a large mouse mat? When I swapped my 10 year old Dell U2711 27" 1440 monitor for an ASUS PG35VQ ultrawide, I had to turn my rectangular gaming table round so I'm sitting at the narrow end now, couldn't get the ASUS monitor back enough otherwise. On the right of my keyboard, I have space for a mat 20cms x 25cms! I did look at smaller Corsair RGB mats but the smallest is too large for the very small space available.

Like the mouse pad "stitched" sides? no more fraying on side is nice, not fan of mouse pads cause side tend to fray. But LED on mouse pad give fraking brake with LED crap.

Someone forgot to remove stuff at the last page: Why shouldn’t you? Not MOBA If can’t tip/claw grip and big hands, potentially avoid. No rubber grips Thats basically the same as above, just written short.

Like the clean look. However I think I've become a Steelseries "lifer" after getting their products and having positive experiences with their customer support.

Id love that mouse mat to go with my corsair keyboard k70 mk2 and glaive mouse, love icue all working together However my desk is 100cm wide and 55cm depth, meaning this mat would have my monitor half on and half off it, really starting to wish when i custom made/ordered my desk i chose more depth. If corsair made same kind of mat (90-100cm wide) but 30cm depth then id order it in a heartbeat

I've just bought this desk via Ikea. Enough room for dual monitor setup, on top of it my 2 pc's and Xbox Series X and of course the ST100 headphone + soundcard stand and some speakers (Logitech Z5500). This mousepad is big enough to fit 2 mice and my keyboard. The Series X controller is also on it.

Something I haven’t seen before, however, is the ability to change the mouse’s horizontal ‘X’ DPI and vertical ‘Y’ DPI. I have no idea why this would be necessary, and I would genuinely love to know why it’s a thing.
That is for csgo players that 'strech' their screen from 4:3 to 16:9, it breaks the aspect ratio and makes people see a larger target, even if the targets the same size ingame, the effect of doing this is that the circular motion of the mouse is distorted into an oval. By adjusting the different axis you can counter the effect. I would personally never recommend using stretched, because you are tricking yourself into thinking its a bigger target but it isn't, and it warps how everything looks for no practical purpose, but a lot of older players prefer it.
