Also, the XTX really comes alive with the overclocking and offers even better performance. And i really like that AMD didn`t push their reference cards to the limit, like others, giving their partners some room with their own designs. Great review!
I agree. Cannot believe nearly up to 20% more performance from a big OC and good cooler... Really wondering if there is an 7950XTX waiting to be unleashed...

If there's a credible leak that one is coming then I'll hold off. I'm sure they can get close to the 4090 in raster with a few tweaks here and there.

The 20% performance increase is a best case scenario but a 10% increase is easy to get and that's a very decent OC. The problem is the power necessary for the overclocked speeds... AMD really needs a respin of this chip to achieve better speeds and better thermals.

And majority of ppl will just use DLSS/FSR anyway, so these benches have little real life value atm. Who's gonna run 4K CP2077 with RT off? Only the anti RT crowd, and it's not a big crowd. Everyone that buys this gen tech expects to use RT where available.

The situation is not that clear cut. Lots of people are going to play Cyberpunk and other RT games without RT because they don`t care about RT effects or because the performance penalty is too heavy. I`ve already read some 4080/4090 onwers stating that they barely use RT because is not worth it. As for me, i`m thinking about a new GPU and RT performance is one of the least important metrics.

Of course, priorites. Were getting there tho, DLSS3 in Darktide is already letting you have it all. More on the way, moving in the right direction.
