I have never seen anything like this. The biggest computer hardware shop in Norway has a total of 5 cards available. And it looks only 2 of them are meant for gaming. The rest, old and new, have been cleaned out.

when people see strange things they like safe(r) investments. the strangest thing is that the concept of digital currency is catching on despite all of the horror stories (mainly from estates of the departed) of lost "wallets". going the route of digital currency is not for the faint of heart and getting in late may be far worse than getting in at all, but the rewards just keep tempting a lot of people to do even penny ante builds. the high rollers are going new gpus with ethereum 2.0, but regular old bitcoin is just fine with legacy hardware

We where not that much better at Greece , although eventually prices tricled down to msrp +vat it took long time. @Undying not in Greece my friend i wish, at best eventually they will get close to normal . Last mining boom i postponed the retirement of my 770 witch died after 5 years of faithful service giving me every single fps she could give . I had to buy a palit 1060 6g 300 euros ... The cheaper 480 was 450 or more at the time and 1050ti 250 ..... I just hope history does not repeat and my card dies again mid mining craze 😛
