Most of the "best" drivers from AMD for me were betas... 90% of the time my Vega64 driver is beta. I dont see the point in WHQL if you game on the system. For the latest fixes/patches you will be in beta territory 95% of the time.

about 2 hours now may not be WHQL though best info I have at the moment. Personally I will apologize for the delay as this was not expeceted . Keep in mind spelling is not my thing..

Just give a little feedback: "Boost" can be used other way around too. Instead of reducing rendering resolution when performance is low, AMD should enable us to set increased resolution when fps is plenty. (Basically we set fps target to something like 90fps and then maximum resolution multiplier to 1.5x. And Boost will be increasing rendering resolution as long as fps does not drop under 90fps.) This will be real IQ nuke for any older game. No more need for some kind of VSR where image is sent to monitor at higher than native resolution and monitor does downsampling. (As this solution we currently have costs us refresh rate.)

Not seeing myself using Radeon Boost tbh. It's a nice feature for those with frame rate issues, but it might be a bit jarring if you stop moving and your FPS just tanks again.

I dont really see this option needed ? VSR renders at higher res then downsamples to you monitor native anyway ... its an anti aliasing technique at base I dont understand why would you need "boost" when AMD and NVIDIA already have VSR/DSR already for a long time. I think you are missinformed regarding VSR and how it works ? Do you actually lose refresh rate when using VSR ?

Radeon Boost lowers your resolution during movement while VSR adds higher resolutions that downscale back to your monitor's resolution.

Check the Hardware Unboxed review - no the Boost only lowers the res, not the other way around.

Really hope this fixes the Freesync brightness flicker issue the 5700's have with some monitors
