I was going to ask if it would make much of a difference for the 480 and it's overclocking capabilities but the article already mentioned how you've tested it and yeah, it doesn't really seem to be that useful. (100% fan speed is no fun at all for a measly overclock advantage and I guess voltage also has to be upped a bit to make it stable.)

It's a shame that it doesn't overclock any better. I assume the silicon simply won't allow for higher clocks since this cooler already looks overkill I'd still like to see if water cooling does anything.

No reason to overclock the GPU all too much, the power requirements go quickly up.
