First of all, what kind of fancy computer setup does IT have to be able to mine at the Police station in Poland? Secondly, what's up with that weird contract where if one employee is fired, the other is let go with him?

what bothers me about crypto is the fact I can't buy a videocard. Make crypto only work on curling irons or something like that and I'll be on my way.

Have to admit those IT dudes from police station have balls, but not (enough) brain lol Here in my town, was it 2 years ago, police caught a local weed dealer who had the (obviously) illegal underground weed plant, quite huge underground facility, expencive equipment... Location: less than 100 meters from the police station 😀

that would almost make sense though. they would have been less likely to get tagged by the infrared helicopter. i'm sure they must have eventually noticed the traffic and or patterns of the residents or something like that though.

they've been doing that in LA and San Diego for years for the high end product. i mean before it was legalized. they were all off the grid and solar powered, even had air filtration and automation.

There's online outlets that sell electronics including gpus for crypto, places selling gold also, not many of them granted and not ideal but they do exist. seen a youtube vid also listing all you could buy like boats, property and stuff. *sry i think i read your post wrong, i read it like cant buy a video card 'with it' lol.
