According to the leaked documentation we’ve seen, it appears that this could allow your Chromecast to plug directly into any speaker by way of auxiliary cord, providing Chromecast support to any speaker or audio system in your home.
This should've been in the first one already. Bought it and pretty much never used it because there was no way to get the audio to my speakers.

Get a proper TV with audio/headphone out.
I didn't know you could even get a TV without some type of audio outputs these days, if not multiple options. That said, I guess my Roku already could do this with it's RCA (Yellow/Red/White) plugs, but many Rokus don't have those and have an ethernet port instead.

Cheap TVs, specifically, cheap Samsungs, do not have ANY sort of Audio out on them. It's sad.

I only use my Chromecast to stream video from the Chrome browser to my Vizio TV. Mainly the WWE PPV's on the WWE Network. It works fine and I would have no use for it doing anything else. I'll stick with what I have.
