But why does it have a gigbit network port?

Good for racing rigs, I guess? Very small market they're aiming at.

At least it doesn't cost a fortune for what you get. This reminds me of when they released ultrawide TV's for a very short time cause they didn't sell well.
Who knows, maybe this is the next big thing? ultra ultrawide monitors. 🙂
Corbus
That's actually affordable,huh.

Can be great for work as well, not Photoshop related but in general productivity due to plenty of workspace.

Ahh, finally a monitor that can display the full glory of my manhood.

Weirdly good price for what it is, though except for maybe playing a racing game, flight sim, or an ultra-wide movie, I can't imagine this display being practical for anything. Our eyes do move up and down, too.

This monitor is nasty. Curved is a gimmick I rather see flat. WTF its super wide and nasty looking, we need some vertical space. Also its not even 4k resolution,,,,,and what not.
Hammie
If this mon was less wide and more vertical and had 4k resolution then its a winner. But the vertical blows goat, and the wide is too wide,, I cant have a tennis match going just do get stuff done.

VGA input, for what? Only one half of the screen?

This is basically triple monitoring with a single screen. But 1080p is way too last decade.

I think this is a better option (3840x1600) :
