Jesus, I wish companies f**ked off with the 60Hz nonsense already.

Gee, what a wonderful screen for only €299, and with such a slim bezel... 😱

Come on guys, make the jump to 4K 120hz. After using 120/144hz monitors for the last 4 years, there’s no way in hell I’d ever give up that smoothness and go back to 60hz.

Troll more, you'll get somewhere.
Unfortunately for smartasses like the two of you, my ignore list has almost unlimited capacity.

8bit + FRC .
Doesn't that mean the colours will be cack ?
JonasBeckman
It's better than 6-bit + FRC for 8 bit at least although maybe that's finally on the way out, true 10-bit panels also cost a bit although I suppose it's come down in cost a bit so maybe it's not quite as bad anymore.

The price looked fantastic until it was clear that it was just a 60hz panel. 120/144Hz is more important than 10bit/HDR

Yeah, this 8bit+FRC gimmick is NOT true 10 bit and not worth your time or money. If you know you actually need 10 bit, DON'T buy this monitor for professional work.

Also 350 cd/m will just be barely enough for HDR in a pitch dark room, too many people are already thinking an HDR sticker will provide HDR...

hmmmm, The 10-bit display delivers rich colour depth as well, with 1.074 billion colours and 12-bit internal processing for smooth gradations and detail.
looks at details:
10-bit display for bright, beautiful colours (8bit+FRC) yeah right, a true 10 bit display..
i hate this marketing Bull__hit...

Speaking of latest technology - it looks like a newer revision of the ca. 3 year old (!) panel of the LG 27UD58-B (both using LG-Philips LCDs)...
Only difference i can make out is the brightness is higher on announced Philips, and older LG has FreeSync (40-60Hz).
Lowest price for the latter is currently €279. (Plus there is a version of it with adjustable stand with pivot available - for a bit more).
Therefore i would not call it a great deal price/perf. wise. But the slim bezel on Phil admittably has a more modern and sexy look... 😉
MSI Optix AG32CQ or Acer ED3 ED323QURA or ViewSonic VX3258-2KC would be a good choice for you then
(all these start from around €400).
Unfortunately the only relatively affordable option i could find with 4K HDR & 120+ Hz is the ViewSonic VP2785-4K, prices starting around €1000.
(If someone is already spoiled with a size of 32" or more - like me - would have to pay 2300++ for similar specifications)
So the tech seems a bit too expensive for most gamer - and most professionals do not really care about gaming specs for a monitor...
Could you settle for WQHD/"2K"? The
