And what about overclocking? Usually there is no speed limit on highways in Germany - so there is no upper limit for high clocks! 🙂

On one hand I don't really like the idea of a self propelled vehicle driving the same roads as me but then on the other hand I see people everyday talking on their phones, Eating, Doing their hair or anything but paying attention to the road so maybe it wont be so bad.

I am glad it is Nvida doing this and not AMD as their drivers are just terrible. I thank yaw......:p

This idea of self driving trucks is terrible. Millions of truck drivers around the world will lose their jobs. Those greedy corporations are trying to pay as little as possible to get the job done.

This brute force AI in the end is just wasted resources and expensive sand (at least to the average joe user), at least there's no skynet in sight, for now...

Can I put two of these Nvidia Trucks in SLI and use that to make them deliver stuff faster?

no need to be greedy, every company will do it if they want to stay in business

Instead of crashes to desktop we are gonna get crashes to your face and victims are gonna have to look for help in forums as well.

Yes. And having two trucks won't scale linearly. You definitely won't get twice the delivery speed, and in fact, using both at the same time may result in stuttering which varies driver to driver. Sometimes if the driver isn't good enough there's even crashes.

Now in all seriousness, when one of these things kills someone who is the one going straight into jail?.

Great for Nvidia but not so great for the people that Drive for a living. I am curious however how will the automated robot deliver to your doorstep if the car/truck cannot pull-up directly to the driveway? We dont all live in houses lol. Robots will replace us wether we like it or not (eventualy) less maintence, less drama and problems with a robot, only downside is they need to pay for the machine up-front then he or she (it) will work for free as instructed. Humans just bring to much drama to the table hell I would Never hire me if I was an employer. Haha.

One day they will have Terminator type robots patroling the streets (boston dynamics) has already made em check out the website. I know damm sure I wont argue with one of those. All this will lead to another Skynet type of situation.
