Cloud gaming has a future, just need telco's around the world to catch up with the tech imo.

If this gets popular in the U.S., the cable companies in the U.S. will flex their muscles and restrict the flow unless a fine ransom is paid as with Netflix and other streaming media services. Thanks Tom Wheeler and our elected elite!

Theres no future in cloud gaming as far as I'm concerned. Bad enough games are being bogged down with DRM limiting our use of them, but with cloud gaming we pretty much give up any claim we have to the titles at all.

And technically we dont own the games now anyway when we buy them we just buy the right play them. Cloud based makes it just that much worse, Cloud base gaming wont go no where with all the restriction of ISP Monthly bandwidths and them throttling things. Only after throttling and Monthly bandwidths go away and EVERY one has decent SPEEDS and by this i mean 50mbit min for decent prices will cloud gaming go anywhere imo

Yet another streaming service that I have to consider, while my ISP has a cap in place....

Technically in some countries you do. Here in Sweden we have a law called "ownership rights", which means the law actually recognizes anything physical you own as being your personal property, including games, movies and music.
