This greedy indie dev buried his head in his ass amidst thousands of posts criticising him for misapplication of an argument about platforms lol.

Poor devs just can't catch a breath, gotta deal with piracy and now this game streaming service?! How dare they!
It's a freaking single player.

I kinda don't understand what legal right do these developers have to force Nvidia to remove any game from Geforce Now. The games are not running on the Geforce Now directly, they are running on steam or their respective clients.
This feels like the devs are telling ME where and on what kind of computer I can play my games that I already bought.

I haven't used GeForce Now so I'm not sure how it works. But I doubt Nvidia has a copy of every game in their library that you can just pick to play. Don't you have to log in with your Steam/Origin account and then it shows all games available to you? What's the difference logging into their computer with YOUR account and playing a game that you own, and logging into my computer with a game I own?
I would understand the devs issue with this if Nvidia was providing the game on an account that does not belong to the license owner but this seems silly.

Lost any future business from me, which is too bad, I really really enjoy the Long Dark and think it's a great game.
I don't understand why he can't just be honest about the reasons for removal. He keeps hiding behind vague "We should be able to decide what platforms our games are played on" but the only reason to prevent people who have already purchased his game from playing it is because he thinks he can sell them another copy of the game via another streaming service. There's no other reason. He just wants to double-dip and limiting the platforms makes that more likely. It's fucking gross.
It's really sad that we constantly have to fight against the developers. I've already fucking paid you the price you told me I needed to pay. Now mind your business and stop trying to reinsert yourself into my life

It appears there is a coup to get Nvidia out of the streaming service, I wonder who could be behind it...?

I wonder if Nvidia change the service and make it a desktop pc you rent everything you can do on a normal desktop but with remote control . So you install your steam and your games there and then play em ... Will the gaming companies have any say on it ?

From what have read is that Nvidia didn't ask anyone to support their games through its streaming service while monetizing from those games in through their subscription fees.
So is Nvidia at fault here.
