With 580 coming out soon, it's only sensible if Nvidia counter it. Otherwise they would be losing out in quite a lucrative bracket of the market.

I don't blame the move, business-wise. It's just not worth a huge deal / announcement as if they're introducing their own game studio or a new shield tablet.

Doubt it's a videocard. More likely some sort of accessory, like the tablet or service. Like another gamestreaming service to battle the one that's AMD backed or whatever.

Depends on how much performance boost there will be over the 480. If the 580 nips at the 1070, I do not see the point of a 1060ti.

This won't be a high end gpu for obvious reasons. I'm thinking a 1792 CUDA cores 1060ti on a 192bit memory bus, otherwise it would be too close to the 1070. 6gb only. This at around £250 would be a pretty nice card actually.

This. Although for this much hype I bet it costs £199.99 this would seriously shake the market up. At that cost people could have a great 1080p card and a VERY capable 1440p card too. Also, I am just going to say it now. 1060Ti 6GB 1792 CUDA cores 192bit bus for £199.99 w/ a FREE copy of Overwatch BOOM
