I feel bad for NV1060 or AMD 480/580 owners - barely any performance upgrade when paying the same price as those aforementioned cards at ~£150-£200/$150-$200 If their cards die and they pay the same price for a new card, depending on their hardware environment, they could even see a reduction in performance as well as reduced features too (6400 and 6500 cards with low amount of pcie lanes and reduced media subset).
6 years of performance stagnation , thank you for the support 😛

Both 4070ti and 7900xt should be 600$. Let me know when that happens maybe i'll upgrade. 😛
i would not mind that price considering the gauge going on, but even that is to much for my blood most the time i pay $350 give or take for gpu, pay $450 twice once for a 670ti and a 1070ti, regretted both from price stand point, the 660ti was returned for a 660gtx , and i could not return the 1070ti cause did evga set up. but that 1070ti is now worth what i payed cause there is no 350$ other then what 3050ti? that cant even keep up with 1070ti unless all i play is dlss game and use dlss, my 1070ti is gona be my new 9800gtx aka it gona die before it it replaced, xx60 series should be $300-$350 and xx70 series should still be ing $450-$500 range not double. I seen tons of 4070ti and microcenter i wan tons they selling but there not flying off shelves, cheapest being a zotac 4070ti which is 799$ pretty much double my 1070ti and most expensive being $1000+. it it was priced at 599$ i probably would just walked into microcenter and bought it. I get pc game ins luxury hell gaming in general and inflation and all that but these prices go well beyond that imo.a 12 peice of Kentucky fried chicken bucket cost 30$ now few years ago it was 15$ give take for 30$ i can get months supply of frozen tyson chicken.

I paid £600 for my 1080Ti on release, right now £600 gets me a 3070Ti which is maybe 30% faster in raster and way way way faster in RT. So some advancement, maybe not earth shattering though.

They are selling so hard that we have price drops of up to $600 off... People are still not buying. This year these companies are going to lose so much money that next time they are just going to cut the supply in half again.

That is so dumb. -500$ and yet price is still above msrp. 😀 The real price drop actually drop below msrp.

For 6 and approaching 7 years 30% is EXTREMELY low !

It's embarrassing. I wouldn't have thought that the GPU market would be so bloated with sub-$600 cards being slapped with $2000+ price tags, especially the RTX 4080. And what's worse is AMD isn't even bothered to price their products aggressively! 7900XT, really, $800?! It's $549 at best! With that sort of performance, it doesn't even deserve to be assigned the xx90. AMD should have call it the 7800XT instead. Not gonna put any expectations for their mid-end lineups. Might end up just getting the 6700XT to replace my dead 2060 (it's on sale for $299, where I live)

Yeah, it is sorry, thought I said it in my post. But even still the 2080ti was $2200 and that was top of the line, while the 4090 is $3600. Still, crazy pricing, and they def are not selling here in Australia.
