Undying:

We are talking about 4060ti vs 3060ti. Thats pretty disappointing.
that was already known.

6800xt can be had for the price of 4060ti 16gb. Do you value frame generation that much? Its questionable can it even catch up if you enable it 😀

if you fancy a 350w card with 600w spikes vs 160w, then by all means get one. the price is as nice as you say indeed.

I just wanted to say that... https://www.3dmark.com/spy/37722529 - this is with an already outdated 5800X CPU, pretty sure a 7800X3D would give even higher graphics score.

(Graphics: 10365) Like, seriously, in what insane crazy fanboy world does that 4060 Ti 16G card worth $500 that scores 6286 can even be compared with a similarly priced 2.5 years old 6800XT ? Anyone buying any of these 4060 cards for the asked price is simply... an ID10T. End of story.

To any would be DLSS3 buyers: - Connect your PC to a modern TV - Set it into "Movie" mode - Turn on frame interpolation ("smooth video" or whatever the name is for your TV) And try playing something that is 30fps, going to "60" in the TV's generated frames. It's going to be smooth motion... but HORRIBLY LAGGY. That's DLSS3 on anything below 4080 or 4090. Congratulations for your choice !
Cool story, recently played Half-Life: RT with DLSS 3 and had no such lag on my 4070 Ti.

Are you really bragging about playing a 25 year old game on modern hardware?

Everybody thinking as gamers not business owners, thats why we are seeing so much bickering. Understanding the way things are will at least bring some peoples blood pressure down.

Good luck playing the Ray Tracing mod on a GTX 295 in SLI.

I thought FG might come to 6800 as well

Frame generation has a long way to go. It seemed to be promising when I first tried it in CP2077, it's passable in that IMO, but in pretty much everything I've tried since, it's been a dumpster fire to put things kindly. In Hogwarts it stutters a ton (and the input lag is way too much), in Returnal it straight up breaks the game and makes it unplayable with bizarre ultra stuttering, no exaggeration, etc.

And that's on the 4090... I can't imagine how horribly bad it would be on these weak 4050's renamed to 60. Yuck.

one of 2 thing will happen imo after 4xxx series, nvidia continues the baddly prices cards or they will comeback to reality and stop castrating cards and jacking the price up. Should we start taking bets on what happens? Nothing about 4 series imo it worth it gen to gen less you got the 1000$ + cards, come from 2xxx or even 1xxx maybe? if your will pay price but hey what do i know just my opinion. I interested to see just how good or bad these 4060/ti cards are none the less, but my 1070ti will kept another year or 2, proving it willing. I not will to pay more then payed for 1070ti.
