Sounds nice. Alternating between Netflix&chill and killing zombies&chill. For the same price.

I'd prefer they focused on bringing more content to Australia. I had to cancel my subscription months ago as there was 'nothing to watch'.

I don't think that they are going to just "offer" games, they are going to develop them. If their game content is a trash as their show content they make then no thank you.

Netflix has a gigantic footprint in Hollywood. so much so that it's better to think of them more like Sony (but with a bigger output and making more money). i think it's very easy for them to take proprietary content into the gaming realm. after all, no single company has more experience in streaming than Netflix, and Netflix is well established worldwide with their own server farms. in addition, no one else has been buying rights to stories and books like them. the most natural marquee game for them to start with would be The Witcher.

Dear Netflix, Just don't mix woke culture with gaming. We had enough of it in your series. Just cut the BS and have a spine.

That would be worth it just to see the battle for who has the rights to produce games based on The Witcher. I know CDPR have already had quite a 'debate' with the original book author over how much money he should have gotten from the success of the third game and I believe CDPR have already announced that they are working on further The Witcher games which would suggest they at least still have the rights to produce games based on the content, not sure if those rights are exclusive though? As for Netflix going to games, well if you have a sub and a decent connection then I guess you've got a win win there, at least for now, because there is no way that they won't increase the price of the service if it proves to have any level of success.

My vpn saved me on that aspect 😉 regional restrictions are bad and is really a big annoyance that pirated places offer a way more accessible service while when you try to get things legally you bump into a gazillion annoyances ....this have to change ....fast

Netflix Adaptation will hold a whole new meaning with video games in the mix.
