The G32C4X, also set to release on April 27, is a 31.5-inch full high-definition (HD) curved gaming liquid crystal display with a curvature of 1500R.
Why... 32" and then still only full HD... why...

why does 16:9 even exist anymore. Anything curved 16:9 is stupid regardless of size and resolution.

34" at that "21:9" ratio which is 43:18, is about the same height as 27" panel at 16:9, so the density is actually passable. I'm using one right now, and being an OLED with an unorthodox (triangle in my case) subpixel structure actually makes it harder to see subpixels especially vs a VA giving an illusion of a higher density.

The resolution is the problem, not the distance to the screen - that is only a problem if you have a small desk or, are sat at the incorrect distance to the screen. 1440P is not standard, 2160P is the standard.

Keep in mind this is 175hz at 8bit, 10bit will require underclocking Also 21:9 gives an obvious visible advantage for games that support it over 16:9 and 16:10, only losing to those super ultra wide 32:9 monitors, yet people seem to forget this constantly lol

Yeah it seems to be the same panel and similar overall to the Dell/AW QD-OLEDs. The best you can do with manual timings (CVT-RB2, but nVidia doesn't let you select that so you have to manually enter the timings) is 157Hz, not a big deal dropping down from 165Hz in the case of the Alienware DWF, but going from 175Hz to 157Hz is a bit more annoying.
