Upgrading to a 290 from 2x5870's has been wonderful for BF4. It's like night and day, plus I got the card for only $299! I'm so glad I upgraded, but before doing so I was telling myself "Naw I shouldn't get a 28nm card, I should wait for a die shrink..." <- I've realized that that kind of thinking is just self defeating, and utter fanboy talk.

Was exactly my point that we shouldn't be calculating TDP like that. Titans go up to 370W easily when overclocked and overvolted with certain limits removed. They have the same power connectors as the 7970 and cards that draw less.
That's because the PCI slot can provide up to 150W and the 6 pin can supply more than 75W would not be surprised if this card could draw over 550W in the right hands. Reference cards are drawing 400W in reviews when overclocked iirc.
