There's some major oversights with this laptop - it's ironic that it's got such a good mechanical keyboard yet no wrist rest, typing would be awful, as would gaming, not comfortable or efficient! And where's the touchpad, and what's with all the wasted space at the top end near the screen!? They took a massive dump on the ergonomics!

People who actually use mechanical keyboards do not have wrist on "wrist rest" because they have such keyboard for purpose of typing not resting. Other than that you are right, that thing is ugly. and for gaming it may be less comfortable, but it depends how much above desk that keys are. But I believe they moved keyboard down to save space and that is how they made it thinner and lighter. (not bad idea, but in combination with mechanical key switches may be bit unfortunate as they take quite some space) Their choice of MX Brown is good one, I prefer those over other mechanical. But worst of all is that they have around keyboard this tall wall it is like keyboard being in valley.

Is there some reason we can't have a normal laptop keyboard and a mechanical plugged into USB? Then we don't have the laptop design and size being compromised by tall keys.
