Granted it looks fairly slim for a 17" compared to Alienware but it is misleading. the edges taper in and come to a edge that they measure as the depth. Measured from the center distances beyond the taper, it is still chunky and not as thin.

I like the MSI gaming laptop design, this model is one of the most powerful gaming laptop available in a single dedicated GPU. It's very slim for a gaming laptop. What i dislike is the 4K crazyness: this laptop has not the GPU power to move games at enough FPS in 4K. 4K screen make more sense in his big brother MSI GT80 who has Titan SLI GPUs and only a 1080p screen.(?¿?) I want to see the new MSI model who replace the GT80 cause it's almost one year old now.

Clevo laptops are pretty bland looking, minus the light up keyboards on some models
