I hope they skip 3gb cards, even 780s have troubles with high textures in latest games. Now I can understand ram is expensive these days so nvidia can´t sell 4gb cards for 200 usd (maybe they can, wide memory buses are expensive too and they are going with a cheap low end one) so they at least should have not abused the gtxX60 naming scheme, X60 are/were gaming cards and these days one just cannot game properly on 2gb, assassin´s creed unity becomes a stutter/hiccup fest after a while with my 2gb nvidia even with the lowest textures. But I guess it´s too late to rename it to gt 740.

Imo this card should have a minimum 192bit and 3gb. but it does fill an empty gap

What are you talking about exactly? As if only Nvidia produce double-VRAM cards for more money?

A 3 or 4gb 960 is going to be twice the cost of a 2gb 960. WTH are ya smokin?
