i forgot to mention a quirk in the market right now. there's a glut of older 27" on the market with varying feature sets @ 27" atm. the new ones are "scalper priced" not because of scalpers but to move the older stock. 32" doesn't have that issue as it's a niche where each years models sell on time (manufacturers guessing right and no "dumped" product in category). 27" has had large overproduction because of a Chinese "bubble" and the OEM's and off-brands have been dumping the older, slower monitors.

I'm still interested, I actually like VA panels a lot. And I have a 4080. I used VA's for a long time, both for work and play. Personally, I had no issues. My studio is dimly lit. So there's that.

then add the Samsung G7 and G8 to the other list. HDR is pretty good on VA panels and FALD works well with less black crushing on VA
