I'm not sure why they've put the fan on the wrong side of the card. Doesn't that make cooling more difficult?

RTX 4080 Super 16G Expert utilizes a push-pull airflow design with a unique fan configuration...two fans!

It's the exact same as FE.

Nope. FE has the fan on the other side. Which is the only side where the fan makes sense to me. Edit: Oh, these things have two fans. I missed that. Never mind then :P

its weirdly attractive, but I still prefer the FE.

We don't need " SOMETHING ELSE" type bling bling. All we need is, enough generational leap of performance at a half- decent price.

Looks pretty cool actually, and it's nice to see something different.

today as i'm looking @ monitors (at CES) i'll definitely be checking this out. imho, it's gorgeous. i'll be seeing their other stuff but i find the monitor segment more compelling (and with less pre-CES hoopla) as MSI are going big w/OLED i will be grilling the rep re: graphene only heatsinks, but unless there are any engineers around i don't expect a satisfactory answer

@tunejunky Have you seen the car that can crab sideways for parking? 😉

I think of 3 things when I look at this card. 1. A loaf of wheat bread. 2. A Pound Cake. 3. A gold bar in Fort Knox It's still weirdly attractive and has a very luxurious appeal to it. Fellow Noctua Nerds are gonna be all over this.

Was never interested in the looks of a GPU. I mean for something thats hidden in your case, whats the point?

Normally I'd agree, seems that computer cases and layouts have been changing to where the video cards are viewable. But I do agree with others feeling the EXPERT card model does have an attractive look to it, preferring its looks over MSI's SUPREME model.

I want it, but I don't need it 😛

lol:D but i did see the WTF of the show for me ... the $200,000 C-Seed 144" folding 4k mini-LED tv... the money is spent on the huge servo-motored pivoting origami base unit... that can be counter-sunk into the floor and rise like Dracula. awesome for mechanical engineering, but the screen is a freaking three inches or so thick and the base sits on top of the front of a two meter long (in depth) steel plank

This looks like a golden plated cheese grinder .... Now if cards where priced according to how pretty they look as far their performance was there I would always get the one that a glimpse will be enough to give me nightmares!

Same fan amount and orientation as the founders editions. Something about the intake on the bottom looking like additional cooling reminds me of the old GTX 480 though.

Aside from most new mid and high end cases having windows, I like to view the card for practical reasons, such to see dust build up to decide when to clean it... and to see if the evil leather jacket bundle of sticks has decided to burn my house down with his dark magic.
