Sounds awesome, but why the 970 and not the 990?

i will be waiting for a review before i buy this , last one had a lot of problems from Performance plagues in certain situations to not being able to fit a VGA properly :bang: the funny thing is the z97S SLi Krait Edition performed worst in gaming category :banana:

Excuse me if I don't understand the big deal about USB 3.1. Ok, fast as a bat out of hell. And? It'll be good to have down the road, a logical evolution, of course, but are they really running out of ideas (not to mention good ideas) so that releasing two SKUs that are otherwise exactly the same thing is necessary? Edit: that's more a complaint about the slew of "new" Z97/X99 boards

Just benched this board and it is pretty decent to be fair nice stable overclock and nice cables management layout for modular power supply fanatics out there! Looks like MSI may have hit the nail on the head for this price range and nothing else I have tested has come close.
