While it's impressive for a mobile chip to reach 5GHz, it's also rather stupid. For one thing, I'm sure it only reaches 5GHz for no more than 2 seconds while plugged in. So sure, technically it can reach the speed, but not for any meaningful amount of time. Also, mobile chips ought to prioritize efficiency over performance (as opposed to just total power draw). So, it's not necessarily bad to have a 65W chip if it includes 30+ threads and an iGPU good enough to play games at 1080p medium detail. That's power hungry, but efficient. This CPU I'm sure is just simply going to be power hungry, which I don't get. EDIT: Forgot to mention - unlike a desktop that boosts to 5GHz, you most likely won't be able to do much to maintain the higher speeds. As in, helping it cool off better probably won't do much, because the VRMs or PSU just won't be able to keep up.
