Love it. Our business uses it all day long with little to zero issues. Our other software, on the other hand, is a right pain. P.s. We've not lost one SSD over the years. Thankfully.

Been using the release version of 2021 Business for a few weeks and it is as stable or more so than 2019. PS. Excalibur1814 - Grimlock should not be on his tippy toes as he is the king.

Come on man, open source operative systems are not for everyone, all OS need to log and write some stuff (i havent heard of any OS killing ssds just with normal use), we know microsoft isn't that cool on the privacy side, but windows is still a modern marvell of an OS, maybe with the steam deck we will see faster adoption on linux distros, for me all OS are just tools, you use the one best suits for you.

you mean like all the $400-1000 + smart phones everyone has in there pocket that is capable of listen and view what you do onlike OS? that can only do that IF you have mic and camera attached to it? Jokes aside MS OS privacy no where as bad as what going with everyone pocket tracker. seriously if people value privacy and dont want to be tracked get off the internet turn in your smart phones oh and stay off the social sites, which isnt issue if stay off internet. Privacy is more of illusion at this point

I'm one of the few tech enthusiasts who couldn't care less about being spied on, yet, also one of the few who doesn't use hardly any social media or cloud services. I host my own cloud service, not because of privacy but because I don't trust the reliability of other companies. Today was a good example, with Facebook and Instagram going down. But yeah, most people who whine about privacy don't realize that even with a VPN, nowhere on the internet is truly private.

and it is only gona get worse. there more tech reliant we get. you cant have one with out losing the other in some way. so will never understand why they whine about what MS is doing but there Phone is doing and capable of is far worse( camera, check mic, check gps,check). but they ignore that cause they can not"live" with out there phone. anymore then the cant live without social platforms like FB. yes our footprint and how much is "farmed" or "mined" can be minimize with certain software, but at end of the day if they want your info no vpn or encryption is gona stop the person, goverment, entity from doing it. I have smart phone cause I need it not cause i want, and closest thing to social platform i use is Guru3d and few other places like Reddit and only cloud service i use is google drive and nothing on there is vaulable in anyway it just random pictures and wallpapers. which easier for me access then pulling out my HDD dock and HD with backup s on it My pc does not have mic attched it nor camera if ms want to mine or farm data thing i do with windows fine what ever it price to pay to for be tech reliant more and more. and fine with that
