Versioning is not new and certainly not invented by Microsoft. Nothing wrong with minor versions (the number after the dot), unless you have to pay for the upgrade.

Service packs renamed! I think it all part the MS scheme to get people to upgrade to there new OS, It wont really matter I keep saying Win7 gona become the new Win XP, I mean seriously there are companies out there that switching to win7 that will take them years just to switch too. To company is gona want to change OS ever year or 2 just cause MS says so, Cause it cause the company money and time to Switch.
