Come to think of it, M$ can just kill XP with an "security" update. Ez users boost for Win10. or something like this meme: Can't breach security in OS if OS is broken in first place...

ATM and older industrial machines probably still running on Windows XP. No need to replace it, since it runs just fine or no budget for replacement. If M$ doesn't do something to prevent it, virus can spread easily. (that said i hate 10)

They didn't revive anything. They just helped prevent a possible disaster for people. WinXP is still outdated. Does not have the feature set other new OS's do.

Yeah, no revival or anything here. They probably publicly released what they patched for companies with service contracts.

I´d kill for newer OS´s to work properly with interlaced resolutions like XP, retrogaming is getting big lately.
