The real reason: flight sim gear makers needed more time to out their latest stuff for simulating carrier catapult takeoffs and arrested landings. Be ready to break the bank for this upgrade yeah. 😱

That's okay, the movie has been postponed for like 2 years too. 😛

I suspect this might be because the movie is also postponed, so they may not want too much info about the movie coimg out in the fs add on before the movie is out.

That looks like F-18 Hornet presumably from new movie, and not original, iconic F-14 Tomcat which would have been much more interesting to me. Anyway I no longer have the game (even though I used to have it on gamepass (or whatever its called) subscription. Should have just bought it outright for €60 or whatever at the start instead of being fooled into paying Microsoft €10 a month for months and then having nothing at end of it except 108GB of HD space used on a game I can't play any more. Think i only ran it about 3 times in total anyway.

Before making new announcements they should really improve their game stability first, correct all their terrible programming errors and optimize code to improve performance. My CPU still is used barely 30% iin this "game", yes i call it a game, because its still far away from a simulator. I appreciate new inventions like MS-azure, but making a game "look real" concurrently does not make it "feel real".
