Nah, Ive got a good feeling about Win 9, I think MS have enough feedback and learned enough lessons to allow us to kill Metro on non touch PCs, which is also an already established rumour anyway, plus the start menu coming back They've gotten rid of the people who forced Metro onto us too, so now they can fall back in line and provide an OS designed for PCs instead of tablets As much as I like 8.1 with Metro disabled, if they succeed with Win 9 it would fall in line with their whole good bad good bad thing Win 7 being the last good one Win 8.x being the last bad one

I don't care about the logo at all, as long as they bring back the true, one and only desktop mode as the core of this OS. I don't mind them implementing the metro UI, or those tiles, but hell, not as the main thing... they were able to make windows RT for those portable devices, and win8 for the others, and it should be kept that way, only that win9 should be about a desktop, and winrt2 or whatever that crap would be called should be with metro UI. Well, that's just my opinion...

Not that it matters but that really is an ugly logo, but it's likely fake. As for W9 i would like it to just build on W8.1 but with yet more performance and security features, ideally build it around gaming and htpc applications. I would also like to see the cheap introductory price like W8 had.

eww. I hope that is fake. If not.. listen up MS, i know it's hard for you to actually listen to people.. but at least here it seems like a resounding NOPE.. so fire the moron(s) who came up with it and change it. So glad the linux gaming landscape is quickly changing. I forsee no windows install for me at all within 2 years. Though I hope for the sake of those who won't or can't switch to linux they get their act together with win9 or whatever it's called.
