It should be noted that there is currently a bug (Either in the game or in the software) that can cut your FPS by more than 50% and GPU usage by the same if you are running Logitech Gaming Software (For Keyboards like the G19, G15 and other Logitech devices) Disable the LCore.exe process before running the game.
I confirm that. With LGS enabled it was 24-25 fps with any settings. The CPU load was about 12% and the GPU - 40-60%. Disabling Logitech software fixed the bug. IMO Logitech has to look into the issue. P.S. GJ S.T.A.L.K.E.R., thanks for pointing this out. I was a step from replacing Windows. ๐Ÿ™‚

This one will be difficult for me to run smooth, guess iยดll have to play with eyecandy and wait for drivers.

No issues with LGPS 8.45 and G15v2 here @ win8 x64, at least in benchmark. I didnt try the game yet.

The issue seems to be with the software that has LCore.exe Logitech seems to have other software with different process that don't have the issue

I can confirm that KHLMNPR.exe (logitech mouse software) does not cause issues.

errr spoiler alert anyone?? Laying out the entire plot including both endings is a little unnecessary in a benchmark isn't it? I'm really glad I just started skimming the first part so if I buy the game it wont be completely ruined.

Yeah I noticed that part as well, already knew about it though but I found it a bit strange. ๐Ÿ™‚ (As it said though it seems to be just copied over from wiki so I guess that wiki article had been updated recently to contain all story info instead of just a summary as usual.)

Nice review hilbert! But damn SSAA performance is killing! Too bad tho, hoping that AAA is enough for now. Btw at what speed did the Titan run in the benchmark?

^I believe the article states that all cards were run at stock speeds.

Lcore.exe is a part from new LGPS since v7, actually its the only process if im not mistaken (and media.exe? for audio/video apps, i disabled the rest) and no issues here. I'll double check when i get home tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚ And speaking of LGPS logitech released new 8.46, I just noticed this now EDIT: yep i have this and no issues http://i.imgur.com/psTCt3G.png Are you sure its not some LCD app that's causing it? Idk some custom plugin..

http://forums.logitech.com/t5/G-series-Gaming-Mice/LGS-8-46-is-available-to-download-install/td-p/1025197 Seems there's no clear indication of what 8.46 does, still maybe it helps. ๐Ÿ™‚ (I don't have the issue, tried killing lcore.exe and performance was the same.)
Improvements โ€ข New Logitech G logo โ€ข Updated Help content Fixes โ€ข Fixed League Of Legends profile-support issue โ€ข Fixed Starcraft 2 profile-support issue โ€ข Fixed MX518 mouse DPI-configuration issue โ€ข Fixed G500s on-board profile issue Im using older version and like i said no issues with it, guess the one who has this issue, could have another LGPS lcd app conflicting with it..

Nice review HH, ironically i am glad stuttering is confirmed, i nearly broke my head to the wall because i couldn't find the reason i can't play smoothly...:)
Yep I got this in Metro 2033 as well, played it the other day in preparation for this game and noticed even with vsync off I am netting around 80+fps maxed out (PhysX off of course due to AMD card) and when strafing+turning with the mouse it stutters like crazy in certain areas. Also, in extremely well light areas with lots of lighting I drop to 25fps! VERY POORLY optimized game and this is on Mertro 2033! I think I will wait for better drivers for AMD cards as Nvidia seem to have this one in the bag... expected though as it is an Nvidia game.

In fact, pcgh has just retested a few cards with a newly patched game and radeons gained pretty much average and minimal fps boost while no more shadow-related issues. So it had nothing to do with radeon drivers but only with poorly optimised game itself.

Now now, Crysis 3 was an AMD title was it not. We all know how well that went.

This article should be updatet with latest patch result. It is reported that it gave very big boost (some times more than x2) to fps on AMD cards.

It's another downer for me like Sleeping Dogs, baked graphics which include some that give many users eye stress. this game runs always with AA and there's no way of turning it off, we only get a SSAA option, small wonder it's so demanding. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-4a-details-metro-last-light-tech-upgrades "There is no way for the user to disable analytical anti-aliasing any more, due to the way it is deeply integrated into the pipeline," says Shishkovstov. "The side effect is that the picture is always anti-aliased to some extent"
