200 million pixel sure hits different than 200MP. So if 48MP cameras are just 12MP but taking 4 pictures, same for 64MP only being 16MP in reality...is this a new 50MP sensor? Resolution isn't everything though, and the plastic lens can never render that kind of resolution. I'd rather see the sensor get bigger inside the phone.

Samsung has ostensibly made a 200MP sensor, from what I recall about a year ago.

Even with a proper lens, the sensor is still a stupid "moar iz better" marketing gimmick. Phones lack the hardware needed to properly utilize such a sensor. 200MP on a purpose-built full-frame camera body with a real shutter isn't a gimmick. For a phone, even a 50MP sensor isn't really practical.

These numbers never meant anything. I've seen low MP cameras take WAY better photos than high MP ones (where they looked more like an oil painting and thus pretty much useless.)

Yet, so many will fall for that. And brag about having it.

The price is wrong. It would roughly be double that.

Yeah, more MP doesnt mean better thats for sure. Im still happy with my Redmi Note 10 pro though, good hardware vs price i think since im not doing any heavy gaming and the quad back- camera is pretty good too in my opinion.

Yeah, i still have an old Sony-phone, one of those which you "slide down half of the phone" and the pictures from that are very good even today

While phone cameras are more than enough for the average user (including me when it comes to photos) the problem with phones and their miniscule lenses plastic ....glass ...crystal... Or even mythril and unobtenium .... There is just not enough light that can pass threw the tiny hole ....so phone camera are mostly as good as their post process is ...
