Very interesting but how does this compare to OLED? Or is Nanocell being refined so it can also be applied to OLED down to 1 nanometer in size for better purity? My piggy bank is slowly filling up and so far, only 4K HDR OLED 60+ HZ will be the special key to open it!

As this is starting to make my pockets want to explode with the purchase of new tech. Oh the many more questions I have popping up now after reading this. So I guess I wait longer than I thought into 2017 to buy a new television.

What I want is a 4K HDR TV with Freesync. I would switch to an AMD GPU for that (if Vega is at nVidia's top dogs level).

OLED is still costly and Quantum Dot/Nano Cell tech is to help bring LCDs closer to OLED but cheaper. So its just a stepping stone til OLED matures.
