I want one

I have the flat version of this, love it. 21:9 is the future for movies and PC gaming. We need higher refresh versions immediately. Anybody know if this supports display port 1.2a (freesync)?

Is that aspect ratio a problem in games or not? How older games react to this resolution? Do games have native resolution support?

Why are there no 21:9 TN model monitors?

I was very interested in getting one of these when I first saw them, and then I upgraded my graphics and it dawned on me that sticking at 60hz is not gonna cut it for games, which essentially rules this display out :/ So I went and grabbed a Qnix QX2710 instead for the interim until these can hit upward of 100hz on IPS or until they make them in TN @ 144.

At first impression I thought that I really would like one like this but then I marked on a table its size to visualize it's size, It is just too small, my 30" HP is so much bigger this one, not worth to change for me. This ratio 21:9 is deceiving because they tell you it is 34" but because of such a big aspect ratio the screen is actually small... I will better wait for something around 50 inch otherwise it is pointless.

I guess we'll have to what for the adoption rate to increase for mainstream support. When I bought my first 21" 16:10 screen about....2005/2006 for a large sum of cash hardly anything support the aspect ratio so i was left with games in stretched mode or with black bars along the edge but eventually widescreen monitors took off and everything supported it. Okay it changed from 16:10 to 16:9 but at the time it was all 4:3 1280x1024 displays. I'll wait this time as we're in the middle of a shift in multiple areas (aspect ratio, Refresh rate and screen resolution increases) and a 1440p 21:9 144hz IPS monitor sounds great but highly unlikely sadly.
