It's sad how tech sites don't test simple things such as coyping files. It only costs me a few seconds to know that Win 11 system partition file copying performance is still total crap vs. Linux, that update hasn't changed anything.
Not saying there isn't an issue, nor that I am any sort of expert, but I do feel it's a bit misleading when the screenshot comparison shows the test is not apples for apples as you can see in the image that the testing is not the same including different versions of DiskMark, 4GiB vs 8GiB file size, and the drives are also not the same (the size of the drives differ I am assuming two different drives!).
What for? Is there anything interesting in Win11 that's not in Win10?
I like the UI of it. And some CPU bound/bottlenecked games were smoother.
But the AMD TPM issue is a pain in the ass right now. My rig is very unstable with it on, even when running win 10. This bios sucks on my board currently.
Cant remember but this is my Sabrent rocket 4 1tb with win10 on the left. this does show a slight improvement but still far from what it should be for seq writes
Since when?
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
Distribution folder always has folders and files and it's download folder isn't automatically cleaned by Windows either.
