I just don't get why MS only supports the latest IE on the two most recent Windows versions. They purposefully limit the market share for IE by doing that. At the very least, Vista should be able to get anything that Windows 7 gets.

They skipped Windows 8 too afaik They likely do it to subliminally coax people to the OSs they want us to use Vista and 8 were not very popular, 7 and 8.1 are their focus now

I use IE as my main browser, and Chrome as a backup, very few sites got issues with IE these days.

Why would anyone want to update IE10 to IE11 on Windows 8 when the 8.1 update comes for free?

Oh, and IE11 is lovely to use. Using 326.01 NVidia drivers gives this amazing "accelerate/decelerate" scrolling and sergoe ui is a fine font on the eye. Steve Ballmer is retiring.

Plenty of people will hate 8.1 and stick with 8 Same as plenty of people diss 7 and stick with XP or Vista Humans are backwards

Windows 8.1 run Sunspider 1.0.1: IE11= 62ms Chrome Beta v30= 106ms html5test dot com website: Chrome= 463+13bonus IE11=355+6bonus Futuremark Peacekeeper browser benchmark Chrome 6001points. 1 run only. IE11= TBP Just posting things for anyone that cares. :P
