Probably much lower power consumption, but on other hand I do not expect them to be fast at all. And I would be worried about their life span.

Ramdisk purpose is to have very fast access to data which are not cached by application in advance = emulates pre-caching. Non-volatile RAM is here to keep system alive through power outage. And to save power. Depending on performance it will be used on server and notebooks. I would not take it into desktop unless it brings some additional performance. Since for power outage I have UPS, And I am really not looking for saving few dozens of watts on RAM modules. If state switching power consumption is about equal with ddr3l, then it can be next big thing in mobile devices since they usually do not need top level bandwidth to deliver full performance of 5~15W CPU/APU.

Might be good to at least have the OS and pagefile on it though.
