AMD fanboy's attacking Intel for these binned CPUs, yet..... didn't AMD just release a "Special Edition" binned CPU recently? At least the Intel i9 9900KS Special Edition will have better performance Out of the Box than the Ryzen 7 2700X Special Edition. In fact, a Regular 9900K is better than 2700X special edition
them amd fanboys are here......they jelly......

Easy to attack Intel and its poor 14nm+++++++++++ dry cow. AMD is on the roll, easy to catch a hype. Special Edition is like Intels 8086K edition, just a collectors item. Intel is doing what AMD been doing to Piledriver. Doesn't FX-9590 strike a resemblance? Desperate times calls for desperate actions. Boy, it's even the same 5GHz out of the box!

^ Not with all the vulnerability patches. ๐Ÿ˜€
Despite for gaming i would chose Ryzen, the 9*** don't have the vulnerability...

Real world TDP should be around 200W, enough as a small winter heater! XD
lol with older gen at 5Ghz i was below, so if this one get upper then intel is really bad lol

Have they fixed it? IIRC they said that they will release something with it around late 2019 / 2020. Although I could easily imagine that those 5GHz then wouldn't bring the same raw performance as without the mitigations.

Waiting for the ryzen 3800X ๐Ÿ™‚

Okey, but what happens to the speed when all vulnerabilities are patched? (sorry, i just had it with Intel and can't resist joking)

Don't know, it was on the Intel website when i was looking at this gen spec while having free time to waste (i won't buy this CPU anyway, i am more powerfull stable Xeon to work and small but fantastic Athlon GE to do things that is not work).

1st, AMD released 50th anniversary edition, nothing special about it. (It is celebration edition which includes IHS with Lisa's signature, T-Shirt, 2 special edition games and some other nice things. But CPU is same.) 2nd, i9-9900K costs double of regular 2700X and almost double of 2700X 50th anniversary. 3rd, i9-9900KS is unlikely to improve this price difference. 4th, at price of i9-9900KS, people will consider getting even Ryzen 9 3950X
