If you use GPU dedicated, please don't buy any CPU Intel without "F" surfix.

Disable the hardware acceleration on the browser => your browser dies.

Doing a lot of experimental things on Linux, disabling hardware acceleration hardly has any impact on performance at all. Maybe if you're running a Core2 Duo or an E2-2000, it's going to struggle, but I've had ARM chips play 1080p videos with hardware acceleration off and it's totally usable.
EDIT:
Also, how is this Intel's problem to fix? I assume this hasn't always been an issue for AL. I don't think this problem exists on other OSes. Knowing Windows' track record, its scheduler is garbage, so rather than Intel keep making all these one-off patches, perhaps MS should fix their scheduler.

Having a bit of a deja vu moment, this is not the first time i've seen that recommendation (turn off hardware acceleration) and something tells me this will keep on popping every now and then. Not sure if it had anything to do with AMD's graphics at the time, because I have been running mostly AMD for the last couple of years.
But the "switch from HDD to SSD" reminded me of the Apple soldered SSD situation, if they are somehow using virtual memory, which is pretty garbage when you're using HDD, that means you're writing even more unecessary stuff onto your SSD, shortening the lifespan. I guess it depends on how much, but some Macbooks with 8gb of Ram were having some really stupidly high writes because of that, so something to keep an eye on.

Disable Hardware Acceleration on the browser or switch from an HDD (mechanical Hard Disk Drive) to an SSD (Solid State Drive).
"
so basically your gpu drivers suck

Using 12700kf never used the igpu in 20 years so went without and don't have any issue browsing so worked out well.

I recently bought my girlfriend a 12400 because it was only $12 more than an "F" to have the iGPU in there. I may never need it, but I like that it makes this CPU more flexible in the future. For future, non-gaming re-purposes, it needs no GPU.

Stupid things like this make me happy I decided against Alder Lake..... Maybe by my next upgrade cycle, all the bugs will be worked out....

The best fix, just use FIREFOX.

not sure whats going on in this "issue"
windows automatically puts browsers onto the gpu attached to the primary display, unless you use 11's override capability.
