So if I understand correctly it will be Haswell refresh in April, Haswell-E mid year and Broadwell at the end of the year? Intel is really stretching my understanding of the tick-tock cycle.

You and me both. So Haswell-E is going to be a mild refresh for the high end market with Broadwell coming later? Broadwell it is then.

I still wonder when are apps finally gonna utilize cores properly. Other than rendering,transcoding or benching most of my 6C/12T scratch their balls. Now we gonna get a 30 thread cpu and Haswell-E will probably gonna go beyond that..Thats gonna be a lot of idle cores/threads for years to come 🙂

That's why most of us have quad cores :P I think that in the coming year we'll start to see some games that benefit from more than 4 cores.
