Too bad intel hated i5-2500k/2600k with HD3000. no proper driver for win 8.1. No QuickSync there.

Intel has actually outdone AMD for product support. Support for HD2000 and HD3000 integrated graphics didn't even last 3 years.... Even AMD supports products for that long.

Isn't QuickSync already supported by HD3000? I encoded some videos on my computer some time ago and I remember it saying something about QuickSync being supported on my laptop. That Windows 8.1 driver though... Intel support sucks.

Few weeks ago, I wanted to use it for live capture into decent file size. Works well at Win 7/8, but not at Win 8.1. Tried all available drivers, even dll override and other tricks mentioned on encoding forums which solved issues for newer generations iGPs. Edit: And thing is, that this GPU is paired with CPUs which people will use for quite some time as they have unlocked multipliers.

They have done that with quite a few products for 8.1. Even for most network cards they still release 7/8 drivers but no 8.1... Cant say i notice much difference with these but then again i only have my 2nd display on intel for browsing and basic video viewing.

The difference can be annoying, windows 8 drivers for my old 4965AGN crash in 8.1 you have to hack the max IRQ value to be negative for it to be stable for w.e reason.

men, intel has a long way to go in its battle for APU tek. as many have hinted, AMD must switch cpu tech to jaguar to benefit its apu future. jaguar and gcn is the winning ticket that will give AMD a fighting chance against intel hd, nvidia kepler tech and keep x86 strong. intel need moar dedication to apu tech, intel is layzy. men, your dollar decides the battle!$
Is this a bot^....Seen it way to much lately....? Also...1 Post? Edit: Reported...

bot? lulz not so much. merely a man interested in the apu battle as all guru members should be. I congratulate you Bud Air for reporting; stay strong men, keep the community strong. I too love guru and recently purchased an i3 with 4600 gfx. it is negaetive to see intel drop support to its over paying customers :wanker:

No news on the HDMI audio not working after you have switched your TV off and then on again (no audio until you reboot the PC with the TV switched on)?
