yup Problem with this pascal is the lack of dx12 and vulkan hardware support. I see regret around the corner when more games move away from the linear architecture of dx11 nvidia is so good at but poor at dx12 and vulkan nonlinear api. Nvidia keep on alienating their fanatics and they keep on forgiving. This should be volta because peopel are paying vonta prices. $1200

it's quoting of a red fan 🙂 But it's half true, AMD do it by hardware and Nvidia by software but with more raw power with pascal... Despite that, the result on screen is more or less the same with new GPU from both company (but better for old AMD compared to Maxwell line). You just have to chose wich game will be better with your brand to argue that one solution is better than another. 🙂
