Finally! The items are in stock and my new desk is being delivered tomorrow. My new office is almost complete, and as an aside, my 5950x is going back - and is being replaced with a 12900k. Hilbert, you have convinced me to go back to intel.

My furniture is now together and now, I am typing whilst standing up...man it feels good...it's like peeing into the ocean, feeling free and uninhibited by 'seats'. My present desk is too small, and since there's a promo on for the 48" Omnidesk Pro 2020 (part of my broadband recontract) I'd be able to get one as part of my 2 year contract with my ISP (additional installment payments as part of my broadband monthly payments). It's slightly cheaper than If I were to buy one outright, plus the idea of paying for it over the 2 year contractual period of my ISP sounds good to me.

How much??!!?!??! that's a lot of bread 'man, $800...discounted from $1,198...I think I'd be inclined to look elsewhere. Ikea did well here, and I'm giving you a recommendation! If you pay Ikea more, they can put it together for you...and you can have a bigger desk! Not much bigger, but bigger...like the 140cmx80cm...it even has a space on the rear for you to put your electrical sockets. Sturdy, balanced well, and backed up by ROG. What more must I say?
