A pitty there is no AMD GPU on the market at the moment to take advantage of that Adaptive Sync, let alone 1440p forget about 4k. And it is especially bitter knowing that it is going to stay that way for another 10-12 months.

"85/80 degree viewing angles" From their tech specs "horizontal/vertical: 170°/ 160°; right/left: 85°/ 85°; up/down: 80°/ 80°" Why are they giving spec for half the viewing arc. Do some screens actually have different angles between left and right or up and down? @wantobe Isn't that the point of adaptive sync. You don't need a GPU that can pump out fps in excess of max refresh rate of the monitor.

*Sigh* more generic 60hz crap. Bring on the 120/144hz 4K monitors for the love of God.

That you will need 3-4 Pascal Titans to even run properly anything new coming out. Or some of the older stuff.

I get like 150fps in Warframe at 4K and like 300 in CS:GO. In fact the majority of the games I play at the moment, Dota 2/Warframe/CS:GO/Siege/SC2, I can run all of them at like 90-100+fps in 4K.

I don't think so, you'd need like 3-4 Pascal Titans to get those numbers, pal.

Now it's clear for those games. But I was thinking something that requires a good gpu like Deus Ex for example. Could have maybe written that from the get go. My fault for never thinking about the games that work at billion fps anyway.

Nah, I get what you mean -- for newer games sure, I don't expect them to run at 4K at anything above 60, even with a single Titan X (Pascal). For me though, I rarely play much of the newer games -- I bought Deus Ex didn't care for it. Obduction/Abzu are two other games I purchased recently, loved both -- both wouldn't work above 60 at 4K either. That being said, I do have a ton of older games that I still play often and would love to run at 4K. I currently don't own a 4K monitor, because I can't stand 60hz. Even on the desktop, the mouse jittering around bothers me. So for me, I'd love a 4K monitor but I refuse to get one until it's 144hz -- and honestly HDR at this point, since it's so close anyway.

For heavy games, I would just upscale from FHD to UHD. Or try to play the game UHD at 50-60 fps with free sync and lower details.

Honestly in a bunch of games the trade off is worth it. The Division for example has so many graphics settings that barely impact image quality but heavily effect framerate. Deus Ex has a bunch too. I'd rather have 4K and take loss there then run half the settings that visually don't do much.
