TBF, the price of FreeSync monitors is much better than G-sync. However, this 2 standards situation is really stupid and needs to be consolidated into one standard. Either both sides supports both (won't happen) or use open-standard (that seems to lean towards AMD version). Despite G-sync being better, I don't think the premium is justified and yeah, at 2k resolution the premium is quite expensive...for a monitor. Anyway, this is a nice product @ 75hz but 5ms.

Still waiting for my 30"+, 144Hz+, g-sync, IPS, 1440p monitor... 😯. Or at least refresh the 27" ones from ASUS/Acer to have better panels, and not spend 1000 euros on a monitor that is such a lottery. Or even better, Dell should release one.

Couldn't agree more. I need a new card and monitor. But for the life of me, I can't make up my mind as whichever route I go, I'm tied in to one or the other. A single standard going forward is what I need and probably what most want.
