Yeah - it's as with every game start now. You get nice trailers and not working servers.

I'm so excited to jump in and start playing the beta. I've always had a soft spot for Mech games. (Mechwarrior, Steel Battalion, and Armored Core, I'm looking at you.) The client is downloading now. Hopefully the servers will open up a bit as the night draws on. 🙂

I hadn't actually heard of this game until this morning. I was mucking about with drivers and Nvidia's latest install screen was "Are you ready for Hawken?" and now the beta is front page news. So what do you guys think?

I think is ok for a free game, but not worth to spend money on this.
