Yes. The winner would need to enter them afterwards. Not everyone. Just the winner. See the difference? Still don't see the problem? OK then, blind people are everywhere, I guess. :banana:
Mate, this is Guru3D.com ..... The reason is that we do not have one competition but eight, with multiple prizes. In total I have to contact close to 20 winners in week one of 2015. I do not want to email each person, then wait on an response and then sort out your shipments. Winners will be picked, I have the address info at hand and can forward that for shipping. As mentioned in the contest pages we do NOTHING with your info. If you however feel uncomfortable with submitting that data, then don't. The other contestants will definitely love you for that choice. But if you do not believe me, by all means don't enter the competition. Merry Christmas

Guys is it okay for people in my family to enter the contest as well ? I told my dad and my cousin to hold off because I don't want them invalidating my entry seeing as they'll all be emailing from the home wifi network Note: PC gamer family SUCKS ! (hardware thieves)

Eh, I just noticed the "or any info provided" in the "How does it work" part, so there's my answer to my original question, I presume. Although that's something you didn't know and I just keep getting astonished that people in today's mass marketing, Facebook/Google, post-Snowden time are still that gullible. Oh well. As for the personal info issues. I was among the winners of the 2011 christmas contest. I provided all info as required to enter the contest. To date, nothing negative has happened as a result. All that happened due to me providing the requested information is I received a kickass memory kit. For me, it was both a Christmas and birthday present from G3D/G.Skill as the kit arrived on my birthday. These contests kick ass and it's amazing that Hilbert manages to do this year after year. @Hilbert - Thanks for another year of great reviews, a great forum and a great Christmas contest. @everyone else - For those that enter the contest, good luck, Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Different client different IP adress. Doubt it'll be a problem.
If they're all on the same network, using the same internet connection, they'll all have the same IP address.

Hilbert's last response was "not a problem", but I'm not sure if that was approval for them to enter as well or not. I'd PM him and ask for further clarification just to be safe.

Yea that's cheating the system mate. You need to use a different ip or you will get disqualified if he finds identical IP address. It's not a problem having your family join in and then if they want to give the prize over to you then that's their business. Only if they sign up from their own home address. So basically 1 entry from 1 address. It's also a bit slimy if you ask me, since you are using others to gain an advantage in winning a competition. Why don't you just do as everyone else does and have 1 entry?

If all family members want it for themselves and say 4 people entered from the same address then that is up to you to prove to HH and it's down to HH to decide if it's legit. Not saying you are trying to pull a fast one but trust me people will do all sorts of scams to try to win things. I think it should be one house one entry and then if you win you can draw straws or something. That way would be a lot simpler for HH to deal with. I don't think HH has the time to look into these matters, especially over the Christmas period.
