It seems the leaked slide is correct, that means next week borderlands 3 is up.
Just a quick correction:
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection includes: The critically acclaimed BORDERLANDS 2 and BORDERLANDS: THE PRE-SEQUEL games in one package All bonus add-on content for both games, adding hundreds of hours of gameplay at an incredible value* Cooperative gameplay for up to four players online

It's nice to get Civilization VI for free, but dat DLC tho...€40 for old DLC on sale (from €80 😕), €40 for the new DLC, €9 for whatever it's supposed to be DLC...nothing civilized about those prices. If I were an actual Civilization fan, I'd be pretty miffed about it...

Free is free - it's great 😀 A shame it's not CIV V though

Speaking of 4x... Humankind (and) Old World 2 games releasing soon that any fan of civilization should be aware of. Humankind (steam link) is an unashamed, big budget, copy of Civilization and it's one of the games I anticipate most. Old World has a team that worked on Civ 4 and introduces interesting game dynamics to a Civ like formula. Meanwhile, free Civilization 6 is a good thing. The new $40 DLC pass looks like a cash grab, but the free base game is still good, nonetheless.

There should be an option to insert your paypal account on Epic games so they directly send you money.

At least this is only about 6.3GB in size... ... not like the gigantic 90GB download of GTAV a few days ago 😱

For those looking to pick this up, or already have at this point I suppose, I have a couple of pointers after my ~1200 hours of play. Get Gathering Storm. The other expansion, Rise and Fall, as well the various DLC Civs are quite optional IMO but Gathering Storm adds a lot to the game - including most of the first expansion. Not the least of which is the Loyalty system for cities, which finally meant that the AI stopped forward-settling you like a SOB at every opportunity. The game is smaller and faster than 5, which is the exact opposite of that I personally wanted, and effectively designed for Quick/Online speed as game speed scaling has been substantially broken since launch. Just a heads up for those that, like me, only play Huge/Marathon games - static bonuses will not scale according to game speed 90%+ of the time. It doesn't make the game unplayable by any means but it significantly changes the dynamic of several systems. For example, military units effectively get 6 times the experience on Online speed compared to Marathon, meaning Marathon players will rarely, if ever see units past two promotions. If you didn't like the religious wars and Prophet spam and manual spreading of religion in Civ 5? Tough, they doubled down on that with Civ 6 thanks to the religious combat mechanic. Edit: Get Gathering Storm but get it on sale. Civ 6 has several good points over the predecessors but it's not worth paying full price for either the base game or DLC. If you enjoy the base game and are curious about picking up DLC and not bound to the Epic Store I'd suggest checking Steam directly as well as Humble Bundle and other sources. The game and expansions are often available at reduced price. Right now Humble Bundle offers the platinum edition (both expansions, bunch of DLC Civs for 47.68€ for me, check your local area and currency) with 70% off on the base game and 50% off on the expansions separately. It might be cheaper than buying the expansion at full price on the Epic Store.

Last great CIV game was IV. V was good. VI is meh… the sad thing is they didn't even try to be on par with the previous titles.

I think it's a great game and even better when it's free.
