Yup. There goes another game on my library that I will probably never play.
Long live Sir Diogenes of Sinope!
Edit: I actually already had it in my library with 3 add-ons! What the...?! Hahahaha!

The game (actually a walking simulator) is so bad, it's easy to forget you even own it...

Was already free some month ago... sadly, exept some indies, nothing new on Epic.
But if you don't have it get it, now that it is fixed, it is a realy good game.

As mentioned, they've already given this away on the Epic Turd Store not too long ago, they usually give games without the DLCs/updates. I already bought this on Steam + the Director's Cut a long time ago... and it being Japanese, it was shocking to see that it more or less works alright on PC and has a passable options menu. But of course being a Jap game they were bound to screw up a few PC things, such as taking the "21:9" ratio all too literally, giving black bars on the sides no matter which type of "21:9" (21.5 and 21.6) monitor you have. That and of course random incompatibilities with some things such as RTSS which can cause it to crash.

I have at least five games I got free on these sorts of promotions in last few years that I haven't even downloaded the game files for yet. But this is one of the most famous/biggest I have seen yet.

Death Stranding is really good game. Highly recommend it. The world is beautiful and unique, the acting is the best I have seen, the story is over the top but still kind of believable, gameplay immersive. The only thing I did not like is combat with humans... Try it, it´s worth it.

I found this game pretty boring, I didn't give it that much of a chance, but I must have put at least 5hrs into it, I might give it another go but it would probably mean having to play it again from the beginning to refamiliarize myself!

I think they gave this away last year

I started a 2nd playthrough awhile back, this time choosing to go solo rather than sharing the world with others. Managed to reach Port Knot City without triggering any events as yet. As you may imagine, it's a pretty different experience when you don't have any other player's infrastructure to rely on.
I don't see any downside to grabbing this if the Epic Games Store is offering it for free.
