Nexus 5X is underwhelming tbh.

Judging by the hands on the 6P's AMOLED screen is bad. The brightness looked like it was half the 5X. If it's the same tech from the S4 era, the battery life on the phone is going to suck.

Nexus is unimpressive, the new models, the G4 Pro if rumors are right, not gonna be impressive as well. I wonder if G4 Pro will be V10 which be unveiled this Thursday.

Snapdragon 810 killed everything.

Underwhelming is not a strong enough word for this launch. Really, no OIS at those prices? Apple can get away with it because they're Apple, the Nexus series doesn't have even the slightest weight compared to the iPhone series. Keeping my G2 for another generation, then probably hopping over to iPhone 7.

Nexus devices aren't like that. They're to showcase what they believe Android should be like today. They don't need to invest so much in the hardware when Samsung and LG etc are doing it for them. Once upon a time they used to be called developer devices.

Come on...you don't go for an iPhone if you don't like an Android phone with an 810 SoC. You go for an iPhone only If you want iOS and all the "iPhone experience". By the way...the 810 is working pretty good in the current Z5 compact (based in many reviews), plus, old Snapdragons like the one installed in my Nexus 5 (the 800) throttles a lot (specially in summer) when you use it too much, they can't stand 2.3Ghz for a long time. It seems that Sony added better passive cooling to the phones (plus a lot of other things and patches made by Qualcomm). I'd love to have more passive cooling on my Nexus 5 (2013).

Didn't mean it like that. Meant it more like "I would only use nexus and I don't like these nexus'" kinda way. It also probably helps that I've only used google since day one and I guess deep inside i wanted to try something different:) Wanna take a guess on how many time my thumb has hit the imaginary back button? I'm going to leave an indentation on the bezel soon:bang:

Huawei...? Who?
The same Chinese company that the US Gov't claims is putting backdoors in their networking and mobile products so that the Chinese Gov't can spy on the US.....

Then they should not let the smart phones be built in China. 's if they could do anything else :wanker: Well, as for the new Nexus phones, you can see it in two ways: either the hardware's too meak for the price, or the price is two high. So, I think they're not worth it unless you definately want a device that has as little crap on it as you can get without rooting it.
